Fix your tutorial https://backlogtool.com/git-guide/en/stepup/stepup2_3.html -- that git commit -m command does not do anything other that output a message that says nothing to commit, working directory clean3 votes
Hi, thank you for your message.
It seems that description in our Guide is correct.
The example shows the output when committing after adding the message “add: Register a change in an index”.

Just to explain the meaning of Backlog2 votes
Hi, we were inspired by the word ‘Backlog’ in Agile methodology.
Sorry but I'm new to this my question is can I use (setup) this to work only for a iPhone 5s? I know all of you are saying this guy doesn't know anything! Lol true but I need to start somewhere right? Thanks for any advice or help4 votes
Hi, if you want to use Backlog for iPhone, please have a look at:

But if you need to use Git on iPhone, I am afraid that you may search the internet for other tutorials.

As the tittle, I have many wiki pages with Backlog format.
Today, I need convert all wiki pages to markdown?
Please tell me how can I do this?3 votes
Hi Nam, to change the format from Backlog to Markdown, please click ‘Project Settings’ (top right area) > General tab > choose Markdown for the Formatting Rules, then hit ‘Submit’
For the existing wiki pages, I am afraid that you need to convert the format of contents manually.
Hi, thank you for your report. We haven’t tested with the browser ‘Orange’, hence we are unable to support it, sorry.

Please update your installation instructions, especially about the part about Git Config. The new version of TortiseGit includes the hierarchical git configuration. It is very confusing what 'Local/Global/System' means and which to choose. It will be helpful if you can explain them in simpler terms in your tutorial.5 votes
Hi, thank you so much for your feedback.
Please select ‘Global’ for ‘Config source’.
The difference of each level:
Local – the current repository settings stored locally in .git/config
Project – settings for the current repository stored within the repository in /.tgitconfig
Global – settings for the current user
System – settings for all users of the system
Kindly have a look at the below Tortoisegit document page:
Explain why you must delete and create a new tag in order to move a tag.3 votes
Hi, thank you so much for your feedback.
We can move a tag with ‘-f’ option, like “git tag -f v1”.
We will delete the sentence “If you want to move a certain tag, you will have to delete it and create a new tag with the same name.”.
- Don't see your idea?
